LATISM at Social Media Week 2012 – The Recap

Last week, LATISM Chapters in the South Florida, New York City, Washington DC and San Francisco Bay areas came together in an amazing display of the true power of social media and its applications across disciplines, as part of LATISM’s National partnership with Social Media Week’s Global Events… talk about bringing the online conversations offline!.

In the flurry of social posts that accompanied the real-life [and real-time] interactions, we learned best practices, recommendations and predictions from thought leaders in the Economic Development, Health, Education and Civic Engagement areas.

LATISM salutes Social Media Week organizers for a very fruitful partnership, as well our South Florida, Washington DC, SF Bay Area and New York City chapters for once again demonstrating their unyielding support for our mission! A job well done, Chapters, you make us proud!
