Join the #LATISM Familia to Help Support the Work of ProMujer

As many of you know from our LATISM conferences, ProMujer is an organization that helps mujeres in Latin America.  They offer micro loans to small business owners and in the same center they also offer health care and capacity building opportunities.  We love the fact that they have a holistic approach when it comes to supporting our women from every angle.  Today we’ll help them launch their #Palante campaign with @DonateAPhoto and we need your help to kickoff with mucha fuerza!

Remember that each photo we donate on the app to @ProMujer equals to one dollar donation from  Johnson & Johnson.  We can donate a photo each day.  So it’s a no brainer right? Imagine if we all came together as a big familia and help our sisters in Latin America with their next loan.  20 pictures mean a doctors visit and a potential early detection to a breast cancer.  Are you in?

I invite each and everyone of you to think of your tias, primas, hermanas and help us promote the party and even more so, help us promote the donations. Here’s the chat info:

Time: 9 pm (EST)

Where: Twitterlandia!

Hashtags: Use the #Palante #JNJ and #LATISM hashtags to join the conversation

Leader: @LATISM

Panelists: Please follow: @DonateAPhoto and @ProMujer  – Both will join us to answer all our questions about the program and the social good application.

If this is your very first Twitter party, you just joined the cool kid’s club! You can go to this room to make it easier to follow the conversation: and don’t forget to add the three hashtags.  Before you know it, you’ll be a pro.

Last but not least, we would like to thank our partner Johnson & Johnson for helping us all use social media and tech innovation for social good.  It’s so refreshing to see organizations that get it for real.
