Carlos Macías

Carlos Macías is a bilingual journalist, digital strategist and social media forecaster with experience on business, urban, social and foreign affairs.

Carlos is currently team member at XL Alliance, a multicultural cross-channel marketing in NYC, as a digital strategist. The firm specializes on turning cultural trends into profits while keeping a stern ethical commitment to bring value to the communities they participate in. Clients include top 50 Fortune companies in the media, consumer-packaged goods, luxury and pharmaceutical realms.

He owns a robust editorial background covering the intersection between business, culture and policy in our multicultural society. Carlos has covered topics on consumer advocacy, domestic and foreign policy. Articles have been published on AS/COA Online, Americas Quarterly magazine, Latino Politics Blog, Being Latino Online Magazine, City Limits and He received a BA on business journalism and history from Baruch College – CUNY.
