In the last months there have been so many statements about the Latinos in Social Media. Many facts and many myths about who we are, what we like, where we are, how many we are, why we blog and so forth. LATISM is launching it’s annual survey to unveil the Latino Blogosphere. This is for you businesses, marketers, bloggers, parenting blogger, micro blogger, tech blogger, political blogger and on and on goes the list. We can all benefit from the power of Latino numbers in the blogosphere!
In this survey we’re trying to better understand our community of 134,000 blogueros and blogueras. The only way we can shape LATISM according to you is if we understand who you are. So please complete the survey and don’t forget to invite your fellow blogueras and blogueros to participate. We hope to engage the largest number of Latinos in Social Media.
With the survey, we are launching the 2011 social media scholarship application. You will find it at the end of the survey. We have listed a number of conferences that provide a true learning opportunity for the members of our community. If we’re missing a conference, please let us know about it so we can add it to the list. We are giving 60 scholarships this year thanks to our sponsors. Take advantage and apply now. The winners will be announced in cycle one month before the selected conference. For example, BlogWorld winners will be announced on April 25th, while LATINO2 winners will be announced on May 9th, TypeAparent winners on May 23rd, Evo winners on June 3rd, BlogHer winners on July 5th, LATISM’11 winners on October 9th and so forth.
The personal data of the survey will be kept confidential. We will unveil the report first to each of the participants, then to the BlogWorld community, then to the world. So if you want to get the report right out of the oven, you will need to participate in the survey.
Now the moment of truth! Before you retweet this post, please take 10 minutes of your precious time to participate in the survey. Un fuerte abrazo!
