We are proud to have partnered with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to raise awareness about the HIV health disparities among Latino(a)s and ignite discussion around who and how Latino(a)s talk about HIV with their families, friends, and partners.
Hispanics constitute approximately 16 percent of the total U.S. population but represent 21 percent of new HIV infections. In fact, new HIV infections among Hispanics are three times higher than in whites. It’s evident that some groups are more impacted by HIV than others.
We thank our #LATISM familia for their engagement and support. Let’s keep the #OneConversation alive! Check out our One Conversation story on Storify.
