As many of you know, last week´s Latism Twitter Party was dedicated to raise funds for Haiti. The AARP Foundation offered generously to match our donations, which got us so excited that we even exceeded our goal.
We would like to join Ms. Robin Talbert, President of the AARP Foundation, in thanking each and everyone who contributed to this urgent cause.
Now, it doesn’t end here. How can we remain “Indiferentes” when our fellow Hatian brothers and sisters are dying in need of every possible aid?
This week, we want to continue our commitment to help by supporting Univision’s efforts to continue raising funds. We will join @UnivisionCorp, @MonicaTalan & @Julito77 until Saturday night. A group of artists will be donating their time to collect phone contributions while we bring childhood memories of “Sabado Gigante”.
Please follow the hashtag #UnidosHaiti – Together, we can make a difference.
A personal thanks to @RDarioBermejo , julito77 & @ErGeekGoddess, who organized and hosted last week’s party.
Special thanks to: Hector Russo, Anthony Lendez, Jennifer Lubrani, Corina Carrasco, Elianne Ramos, Carolyn Gonzalez, Karen B. Haron, Raquel Segura, Kristy G.
