LATISM Party Recap: Defining our Latino ID, with FORD

UPDATE: Do we know who we are? Do we remember where we come from? Should we? If you attended out LATISM party last night and didn’t get your answer, you surely got an earful! Imagine a virtual room full of proud and loud Latinos -sin pelos en la lengua- telling it like it is about their Latinidad and their place in this amazingly complex American Sinfonía. And boy, did these Latinos raise them voices! We reached an astounding over 7.7 million impressions and once again, reached number one on the TwiRus trends!

In reading the Defining Our Latino Identity – FORD/LATISM Party Transcript, it’s easy to see that when it comes to self-identification and ethnicity, there’s loads more to think about than skin color.

Joining our conversation were the folks from Ford Motor Company, who decided to celebrate the launch of their new FaceBook page for Ford en Español, with a video splash featuring some of our favorite tweeps: @juanofwords @laflowers @ManuManuMendoza & @alvaroatFORD as well as a certain @ergeekgoddess 😉

Make sure you read the transcript, visit and like the Ford FB Page… and like the proud Latinos you’re about to see, live your Latinidad to the max! WEPA!!
