This week the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) convenes the largest gathering of Latino policy-makers in Las Vegas. More than 1,200 Latino public officials and supporters from all over the nation including Latinos in Tech Innovation and Social Media (LATISM) are expected to join their 32nd Annual Conference.
With the Hispanic population growing at explosive rates, it is of paramount importance to continue to advance and improve opportunities and outcomes for women and the Latino community.
LATISM aims to raise public awareness about major issues affecting the Latino community in the areas of health disparities, education, tech innovation, and policy. We will elevate the dialogue on some of the most far-reaching issues affecting the Latino community and address the impact policies have on the largest and fastest-growing segment of the U.S. population.
LATISM lauds NALEO for their unwavering commitment to promote participation of Latino(a)s in the American political process. LATISM is proud to partner with NALEO.
