LATISM Conference Series: A Poet’s View of LATISM ’11

Reynaldo Macias

How do you intro a video by a poet? If you know Reynaldo Macías (@reynaldomacias) or have ever read any of his posts either here on LATISM or at his own blog, you know this educator and published author has a way with words.

That is evident when you hear him say things like “Social media has expanded my horizons and it’s breathed air an life to many of the dreams I had when I was a kid” to explain why he’s looking forward to our LATISM ’11 National Conference. The confident look, the cadence, the rebelde attitude show you, very matter-of-factly, that he’s planning to see all of you out there IRL… so you better be there!

But no description will do justice; you’ll have to see his penchant for lyricism for yourself:

The LATISM Conference Series features candid posts from by LATISM members from around the Blogosphere sharing the reasons why they are looking forward to attend the upcoming LATISM ’11 National Conference in Chicago, November 9-11, 2011.

WE WANT YOUR VIDEO!
If you’d like to submit your own video telling us why you’re looking forward to attending the conference, please forward it to elianne@latism.org.
