Latinos in Social Media (LATISM) announced today an extension of their national media partnership with Latina Style, Inc. The media partnership enhances efforts in fostering online and offline community engagement at local and national events with the greater goal to empower Latinas, one woman at a time.
As a partner organization, LATISM will provide support at local events, specifically in partnership with the Latina Style Business Series, the most successful ongoing business development program for Latina business owners in the nation. The interactive business development program, Latina Style Business Series brings together Latina business owners with key corporation and government agencies that provide the goods and services needed by these outstanding entrepreneurs.
“We are very happy with the offline networking opportunities Latina Style Inc. partnerships has made available for our community. Some of our LATISM chapters have already participated in the Latina Style Business Series and have taken all the information and empowerment back to their communities.” said Elianne Ramos, Vice Chair of Marketing and PR at LATISM. “The national media partnership will open doors in every corner of the LATISM community and empower our men and women in areas that we are passionate about growing: entrepreneurship, education, leadership.”
A core team from LATISM and Latina Style, Inc. will oversee planning and implementation for the partnership. Joint on and offline national activities for the initiative will be announced separately.
