Keep Your child safe from Cyberbullying

Although summer is supposed to be a carefree time spent with friends and family, there are still things which make it less than ideal. For teenagers, these warm months are often filled with hours spent online using their smartphones and computers. And unfortunately, this time spent online isn’t always positive. 62% of teens in the United States with mobile access have witnessed cyberbullying and even more shocking – 90% will not tell their parents or an adult when cyberbullying occurs. Teenagers may be hesitant to speak up for a myriad of reasons, whether it is out of fear, embarrassment, or anger, but parents should be properly equipped to deal with the issue, if and when a problem arises.
