Just five weeks before our LATISM’12 national conference in Houston, this October, top leaders in the city are already rolling out the red carpet for all of the Latinos In Social Media who will attend the premiere annual event in Texas. This is the first time LATISM holds its national conference in the southern United States, and Texas is buzzing with excitement!
Leading the welcome wagon is Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker, joined by the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Laura Murillo, as well as local celebrities like NBC local affiliate, KPRC Local 2’s Bill Balleza, the Houston Texans and Houston Rockets cheerleaders, the Norma Zenteno Band, as well as the Houston Grand Opera.

Latinos In Social Media is the largest organization of Latinos engaged in social media. It’s three day national conference will take place in Houston from October 25 to 27, 2012, and will focus on four core track areas: business, education, health and technology.

ABOUT LATISM ’12
The LATISM ’12 Conference is LATISM’s centerpiece, fully bilingual event of the year. This national event will consolidate LATISM’s mission and audience of health providers, government officials, educators, community members and thought leaders. Since 2009, the Latinos in Tech Innovation and Social Media (LATISM) events have taken place in cities all around the United States, including New York, Orlando, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley, featuring more than 400 speakers to date.
