Small business can now take payments through smartphones from anywhere. Let me introduce you to Square, the company was named after the small, square magnetic-strip readers plugged into smartphones or iPads that allow people to swipe credit cards. There is NO set up cost, but they do charges a 2.75 percent fee, which is lower than merchants would be charged per transaction if they went directly through credit card companies. On Monday, Square announced that they have raised $200 million to gear up for global expansion. Square is a very inexpensive item, anyone can purchase. You can find it in any electronic stores, including Best Buy, they go as low as $9.99.
As we all know, this can become a great opportunity to reach the Latino business.
