Maricel E. Presilla is the author of a book in the history of chocolate and the Christmas feasts in the Hispanic countries. Presilla is an Award-winning chef and also own two restaurant in New Jersey. In her cookbook, she offers a variety of recipes from the Caribbean Islands, Central America, Mexico, South America and she also included her own interpretations of traditional dishes.
Maricel also included pointers on cooking equipment, ingredients of unfamiliar vegetables. She also included an entire chapter on tamales and their wrappings.
