Consumer Reports En Español Partners with LATISM to Launch Online Campaign And Survey on Latino Multivitamin and Supplement Usage
Online-only Survey Aims To Garner Insights on Reasons, Frequency, and Other Factors for Usage Among Latinos.
New York, NY – June 17, 2013 – Consumer Reports, the world’s largest independent product-testing organization, has just partnered with LATISM, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing the social, civic and economic status of the Latino community, to launch an online-based survey and awareness campaign on the factors that determine the usage of multivitamins and health supplement usage among online demographic segments.
The campaign, which includes an online poll, infographics, blogger and social media outreach, will be conducted through Social Lens Research and promoted through social media outlets only. The results of the survey will be available at consumerreportsenespanol.org and Blog.Latism.org on the week of July 8, 2012.
Last year, Consumer Reports published 10 Surprising Dangers of Vitamins and Supplements, a comprehensive report on the hazards associated with vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other nutritional supplements. The information gathered through this newly-launched survey will garner insights on Latinos’ views about these products. The survey will be live until June 24, 2013.
Individuals interested in taking the poll can access the LATISM/Consumer Reports Multivitamins and Latinos Poll here.
