Casinos Ban Google Glass

In what should come as a surprise to nobody, Google Glass is not a hit with everybody. Some people have voiced privacy concerns in that wearers are essentially walking around witha very subtle camera on at all times and they can be transmitting or recording video and sending it out live. Not everybody is interested in being on TV or on the web but since it was announced some businesses have had particular concerns.

Casinos have had worries and many have literally banned the device as they feel it might allow users to cheat in some manner. Because the device includes a camera, voice control and Internet access, it could be used in several different ways to help a person improve  their odds or just plain cheat. Because of these concerns, Google Glass has been banned in several cities like Las Vegas, and in states that include Connecticut, Ohio and is even banned in 12 casinos in the Atlantic City.
