Businesses react to health care act delay

business and healthSmall business owners have reacted to the health care act and representatives said they need much bigger changes.  They are still lobbying for changes that will mandate coverage only for employees who work at least 40 hours a week, rather than 30, along with other fixes, said National Federation of Independent Business spokeswoman Cynthia Magnuson.

The critique with this healthcare act is that is going to affect small businesses in the long run.  Small businesses are reluctant to expand because of the act.

There is hope for small business because the economy is expected to grow faster by late 2014.  One of the misconceptions of this health care act is that many employers with fewer than 50 employees mistakenly think they have to buy insurance.
